Sinead McDunna aka Sam
Sinead is for lack of better term a street rat. She is quite intelligent, but is completely uneducated. Her street smarts are what have allowed her to survive thus far on the streets without real friends or family to help her.
She masquerades as a boy, as it is much safer then living as a woman on the streets. She is short, and flat chested enough to pass for a young boy. Sinead is very convincing as Sam, for she knows her life depends on it. She is a good actress and has learned to lower her voice a bit, and her mannerisms are quite masculine. She hangs around pubs smoking her pipe, drinking ale, and laughing heartily at jokes that generally aren't spoken in front of women.
She is an accomplished thief; extremely intelligent, resourceful, and ruthless when the situation calls for it. Sinead usually has no remorse for the crimes she commits. To here there is no such thing as good and evil, there is only survival.
That being said she isn't all bad. She is charming and has a great sense of humor. While she has no qualms about robbing someone blind or fighting dirty when the situation calls for it; she does not like violence. Sinead would probably also step in if she saw that someone was about to be hurt and do what she could to defend them. Of course this should in no way suggest that Sinead wouldn't save someones life and then rob them. she is brave and capable of feats of great daring, but her own survival comes first in every situation.
Friends
Sinead is quite charming and jovial, although she almost never lets anyone get close to her she will have many pleasant acquaintances. If you are a criminal type or someone who isn't afraid to hang around pubs with low lives she will probably befriend you. She could probably use a partner in crime, and will follow a code of honor amongst thieves if someone chooses to become her partner.
It might be interesting to have her develop a closer relationship with someone, but it would take something big to bring them together.
Lovers
Basically Sinead is in drag all of the time, and most people will be under the impression she is a guy. I intend to have as much fun with this as possible. If you have a female character that gets a crush on Sam that would be awesome. If Sinead gets a crush on a male character, who is under the impression she is a guy that could be awesome too.
Hell in the name of survival I could see a few situations where she would kiss a guy or a girl, or play with someones emotions to get out of a situation or make some cash.
Like I said above it would take something big for her to get into a real relationship. But for the time being I could see a lot of fun plots resulting from the whole cross dressing thing.
Enemies
I think this bit is self explanatory.
A cross dressing, borderline sociopathic thief is bound to make a few enemies.
The Bottom Line
Ok people; no need for crazy coding skills, avatars, or song lyrics. Unless you really want to use them of course, then it's fine with me. But just post below, say a little bit about how your character would react to Sinead/Sam and any plot ideas you may have.
